The introduction of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), a daily pill commonly known as Truvada, has been an incredible game changer for HIV prevention in recent years. There is still much work to do to ensure that underserved and at-risk communities can access safe and effective HIV prevention methods, however – and you can help make that happen. The Fenway Institute is currently enrolling participants for the following studies around PrEP:
LifeSteps PrEP Adherence Study
Are you currently taking PrEP? Fenway Health, in conjunction with the University of Miami, is conducting research to investigate new ways to help adults stick to their daily PrEP regimen.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
– Are currently on PrEP
– Are at least 18 years old
– Were assigned male at birth
– Identify as a man who has sex with men
– Have a cell or smartphone
Participants will be compensated up to $330.

PrEP@Home
The PrEP@Home study is testing a new mobile app designed to help people using pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, take control of their sexual health.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
– Do not have HIV
– Are 18 to 49 years old
– Were assigned male at birth
– Are interested in taking a daily pill for HIV prevention
Participants will be compensated $240 for their time.

PrEPsteps
We’re currently seeking participants to utilize an investigational smartphone-based intervention and digitized Truvada daily for 3 months to help improve adherence to PrEP.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
– Are 18 or older and identify as cisgender
– Are a man who has sex with men
– Use substances other than alcohol
– Do not have HIV
– Are currently taking PrEP or are interested in starting PrEP
