Fenway Health Communications Wins Gold at NESHCo Lamplighter Awards

We’re excited to announce that the Fenway Health Communications team has brought home a Gold award from the 2019 New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) Lamplighter Awards. The team received Gold in the category of Cause/Social Marketing for the #UsToo: Raising Awareness of LGBTQ Survivors campaign.

#UsToo is a statewide initiative that highlights the services of Fenway Health’s Violence Recovery Program. LGBTQ survivors experience disproportionate rates of sexual assault, but too often their voices are left unheard, unacknowledged, or even invalidated. The #UsToo campaign aims to provide a critical life-line to survivors and reaffirm the fact that sexual violence affects everyone. We’re incredibly happy that NESHCo honored this important initiative.

The Lamplighter Awards recognize outstanding healthcare marketing and public relations. According to NESHCo, “those who earn an award can count themselves among the region’s best public relations and marketing professionals.” This year’s awards were presented on Thursday, May 30 at the The Lamplighter Awards Gala at the Omni Providence Hotel.

Please join us in congratulating Communications #UsToo team members Elizabeth Gruber, Erica Sawyer, and Bren Cole on this award!
