Effective Monday, August 24, Fenway Health will be relocating the COVID-19 testing tent from its current location in the McKinley School parking lot due to the resumption of public school activities in the City of Boston.
The testing tent will now be located in the parking lot of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral located at 161 Kilmarnock Street—just a couple of blocks from the current location.
Testing Hours & Scheduling
Testing hours will remain the same. Testing will be available Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–12 p.m., by appointment. People who need a COVID-19 test should continue to call the medical appointment line at 617.927.6000 to be evaluated and to schedule a testing appointment if required.
Drive, Walk, or Bike
You may arrive for your COVID-19 testing appointment by car, on foot, or by bike. All patients should arrive using the 161 Kilmarnock Street entrance. Patients who arrive by car will be asked to park in the Holy Trinity Cathedral’s parking lot, and walk up to the tent to be tested. While pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles will arrive at the same entrance, we have sectioned off a safe walkway path for pedestrians.
Fenway Health conducts COVID-19 testing on both symptomatic and asymptomatic people. There is no charge to you, but we will collect insurance information for everyone who is insured at the time of registration. You do NOT need to be a Fenway Health patient to be tested at our facility.
Testing at Fenway Health has been incredibly successful. To date, we have administered 2,072 tests for COVID-19, which has helped reduce the spread of this virus in the City of Boston and throughout the Commonwealth.
We would like to offer a huge thank you to both the Boston Public Schools and the McKinley School, for their flexibility, hospitality, and willingness to host Fenway Health and this important endeavor.
